Last night, Nate and I got to meet up with some other Ethiopian-adopting couples at the Ethiopian restaurant, Queen of Sheba, in Louisville. Our friends, the Bowmans, had been once before, so they invited us to go with them, and we invited another couple to join us.
We had a great time and the food was really good!

From front to back, the Bowmans, us, and the Hardmans and their sweet boys.

Dinner is served! Delicious! (and very colorful)
So, we thought after eating Ethiopian food, we should continue our multi-cultural evening and eat some food that is authentic to the United States, so.....

WOW! This place was amazing! (and almost just as colorful)
What a fun night! It is always so encouraging to get together with other adopting couples and talk through the process. I can't wait for our kiddos to all get to play together! How fun!
Happy long weekend to everyone!

how fun!!! that's SO neat!.... it's great the community you gain when you're experiencing things together!.. i'm SO glad you have that--what a huge help and encouragement in this time for you!... love ya, girl!!
That's great news about no hold ups with the new paper work, I hope ours got sent off too, that looked like a great night, last night!
I think the dossier still goes on as scheduled, but this form will have to be added to it, because in the e-mial, I was under the impression that we have more time to get this done than those that have referrals.
Yummm.... I am still thinking about the gored-gored. And the turtle ice cream cake. Mmmmmmm.
