Today marks the big "29" for me, and tomorrow is my very first Mother's Day ever. My words will not do justice to how full my heart is this weekend (and, really, every single day) as I think on the amazing gift that God has given our family in sweet Jordan. After many years of trying my best to not fall apart emotionally on Mother's Day, I am so thankful that I truly get to celebrate this weekend with not just a "dream" of being a mom someday, but the reality of holding and kissing and wrestling with this adorable little (big) man who brightens my every single day.

And, as one of my recent posts mentioned, we also want to honor Jordan's birth mommy, Bezunesh, on this very special day. We are so grateful for the life she gave to Jordan and her sacrifice for him. I pray that Jordan always knows how loved he is by so many.
