All a blur . . .

So, I think I've totally lost track of what day it is/was this time last year. I think this was the day we went to church in Addis (super cool experience) and then had the honor of eating lunch with our travel buddies, Nick and Sherry, and sweet Tsegaye.

Tesfu was our #1 man while we were in Addis. Translator, bag-carrier, tour guide, explainer of culture, friend, all of the above . . . he was AWESOME!!!! Nate was super excited that Tesfu had a Florida shirt; hence, the #1 sign that Nate is sporting. :)

I think this was taken the night before we went to church. Isn't the sunset gorgeous???

Nate, J, and Me with Tsegaye (director of the House of Hope--amazing man!), Sherry, baby Nathan, and Nick

The gang eating lunch at a local Italian restaurant. Yummy!!! This was the only time we ate out during the trip, however, because the food at the House of Hope guest house was so delicious! (P.S. Funny story--while at the restaurant, I accidentally knocked over a make-shift wall separating our table from another section of the restaurant. Needless to say, I was quite the attraction--a white woman carrying an Ethiopian baby, knocking down a wall in a very fine Italian restaurant in Addis Ababa. No wonder I don't get out much.) :)

*On a side note: Jordan is currently sitting in his high chair in the living room watching the Cardinals vs. Cubs game while Daddy watches it from the couch. Jordan refuses to get down from his chair. It is hilarious! He keeps mimicking whatever he sees on the screen (this could be dangerous).
