Sorry, no cool pictures today (I actually had to work today--crazy, I know.) I think this might be the first full week of school in over a month. Needless to say, my students are a little out of sorts (and after lunch everyday I feel like I should be napping, not teaching). So, we'll see how the week goes.
We are having our home visit this Saturday to finish up our home study. I always wonder, "Should I clean my blinds? Wipe down all of my walls? Clean the fans? Give our home a makeover?" Hmmm.... considering that today is Monday and the visit is on Saturday, the answer to these things is most likely "no," but I was just wondering. Have I mentioned that our social worker, M, is super helpful and sweet? Yep. She's great. So, I'm not too worried, but I am a PERFECTIONIST, so I have to remind myself that it's ok if my dogs aren't perfectly groomed and there might be a crumb or two on my kitchen floor. AAAHHHHH! :) For those of you that are already parents, I'm sure you're thinking, "She needs to lighten up." :) I'm working on it.
Hope you all are having a wonderful week so far!

my sweet friend! i love it that you are perfectionist--you don't take anything lightly and things are really important to you!! i could learn a thing or two from you!! however, i do think it's funny.. you're wondering if you should clean your blinds.. i'm wondering if i should dust AT ALL??!!... love you and miss you!!:)
hey stef, we got to your blog from sara's and we were just reading over it and didn't know you were adopting! That's awesome- so are we! We haven't officially told a lot of people yet, but we are getting all of our paperwork together and doing our homestudy soon. It's really hard to do everything from Japan, and actually pretty frustrating because we're having a hard time getting everything we need. We're adopting from Ethiopia with Christian World Adoption- what about you guys? Hope you guys are well. Luke said to tell Nathan hi :)
