Well, it's looking like the scheduled home visit isn't going to happen tomorrow, as we are under a Winter Storm Warning and all we keep hearing is "heavy snow." Good times. Who knows? It could all change before tomorrow afternoon, but I'm not counting on it. So, we are probably going to meet with our social worker on Monday night instead. (Have I mentioned how great she is? Yep, she is going to make time to come to our house on a week night! She rocks.) So, I guess I have 2 more days to debate about cleaning the blinds...
So, God keeps reminding me of Abraham and Sarah. When God told Sarah that she was going to have a baby, she laughed... I think I would have too, actually. I mean, she was OLD and her husband was EVEN OLDER, and they hadn't exactly had a good record of fertility. But, when she is "caught" laughing, she is asked, "Is anything too hard for God?" And then she is told that God will give her a child "at the appointed time."
Our precious little guy is going to come "at the appointed time." Praise God that the "appointed time" is exactly perfect and we don't have to figure it out on our own. :) Whew.
I'll keep you posted on how the home visit goes!
