SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER.... (one of the best song lyrics ever)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...... and it's back to school on Monday! Yep, I'm taking my first grad class this summer, and it starts this Monday. Yippee! Actually, the course is a writing project through the University of Kentucky, so I'm actually looking forward to it (hey, maybe my blog writing will get better... I wouldn't get my hopes up, though, if I were you). The class is 4 weeks, so on July 4th, my summer will actually start (and then end on August 8th when I go back to school... yuck). :)
So, with one weekend between school ending and starting again, Nate and I got to spend some time with the fam! My retired mom (congrats, mom!) is now the Travel Queen, so she is in town for several days, and Rach's birthday was today, so we all got to celebrate in New Albany... good times! Here are some pics from our fun day together!

School! YUCK! I give you all the credit in the world for it, but I had enuf of it in nursing school 20 some odd years ago. Just the thought of going back to school makes me sick to my stomach! LOL! But, it does look like you all had a very nice visit! Enjoy!
so happy for your mom that she retired! I suppose it doesn't hurt that she can come and see you and your sis on one big trip! I'm so glad you'll get to see her more often. Soon she'll be coming to help you with your new little one! Woo hoo!
Stefany,
Congratulations! We brought our daughter home in December. She is an absolute blessing. I hope this waiting period passes quickly for you. It is great to know that you guys are so close! We will have to get our little ones together sometime!
