Just a quick update on the class that I'm taking. IT'S AWESOME. Yep, you heard it right. I never thought I would call anything dealing with school "awesome," but I guess I was wrong. Yes, it is a lot of work, and yes, there are brief moments where I catch myself daydreaming of the pool, but I am super glad that I'm getting to take the class.
Here's a glimpse of my day today: Free write, discuss practical writing lessons with other teachers, free write some more, walk around beautiful downtown Lexington and make observations about the people and places I encounter... and then, you guessed it, free write some more. (If you hate to write, this is sounding torturous, I know, but just trust me... it rocks.)
Each Friday we have to publish one of our pieces and share it with the entire class, so that's a bit intimidating. However, I can't wait to catch glimpses of other people's lives through their writings, and I hope a little bit of Christ can pour out of my writing onto others... feel free to pray about that for me, if you like.
That's all for now. Oh yes, today is ONE WEEK WAITING, by the way. Pretty exciting! (p.s. I have no idea how many weeks that leaves left, in case you're wondering. :)

well, good for you, stef! i'm actually not that surprised that you love your class:) it's awesome to find something you love and be in a place where you can learn more about it, while doing it, and all that good stuff!! one week waiting, huh?... it will turn into a few, then before you know it, your little guy will be here!!!
