So.... about "the call" . . . :)
It had been a long day of professional development meetings, and I was on my way back to school crammed in the back seat in between my assistant principal and another teacher at my school. In the front seat, another of my assistant principals and another teacher from my school. Perfect setting to get the call, right? :) So, when my CHI ring tone went off, I think I stopped breathing. All I remember saying is, "Um... guys.... need to take this.... might.... be crying.... sorry...." They must have thought I was a loony.
So, of course I took the call and on the other line was my friend Jessica who works at CHI, along with Toni and Nate. When I heard Nate's voice, I lost it... just starting bawling like a baby. (Insert my assistant principal putting her arm around me and asking if I'm okay--she is so sweet.) Toni went on to tell us about our son, and I'm sure she did a great job explaining him, but I couldn't tell you one thing she said. Luckily, Nate was listening. :) Toni said she would email his picture and Congratulations! (Toni... YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!)
So, when I get off the phone, of course everyone in the car wants to know what's going on. It only took me about 3 minutes to gather myself before I could talk. Seriously, they must have thought I was a crazy lady. But, once I was able to spit out a few words, they were so wonderful! Clapping, laughing, so excited!
Nate and I met up at home and looked at our little man's picture together and immediately fell in love. We are still speechless at God's great gift to us, and we can't wait to meet and hold and kiss our little one!!!!

Mom and Dad came to celebrate with us and took us to dinner! Thank you, Mom and Dad! We are so glad you got to be here this weekend!

And here are my sweet baby buds pointing at my tummy. :) Em is 30 weeks! Baby Camden will be here soon! And Nakada had twins one month ago! Doesn't she look great? No fair. :) Love you girls!!!!
