First, I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you for your encouragement, thoughts, and prayers. I wish I could hug each of you and tell you in person. You all have been such a huge blessing to Nate and I during this journey, and we can't thank you enough.
Today marks 8 months (actually 35 weeks) since our dossier was sent to Ethiopia. Wow. And to commemorate the day, we are having another blizzard. Ok, not really a blizzard, but in Kentucky standards, a "major snow." :) School was released early today, so I'm enjoying a nice, quiet afternoon of no "Mrs. Head!!!!" Aaahhhh...... so peaceful. :)
Here are some truths from Scripture that some of you have sent my way over this past week that I want to share with everyone. I have been clinging to these promises, and I hope they encourage you also.
"What seems impossible with man is possible with God."
"My ways are not your ways, and my thoughts are not yours."
"Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, maker of heaven and earth."
"The Lord is loving toward all he has made."
"He who puts his hope in the Lord will never be put to shame."
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. He is like a tree planted by a stream. It has no fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a season of drought and never fails to produce fruit." (One of my favorites--somewhere in Jeremiah. Sorry I'm not good at recalling references.)
Love you all!

Keeping you all in our prayers. If there is one thing I know, God is in the details. Looking forward to seeing what all these twists, turns, and upsidedowns mean for your sweet family to be!
You are so full of love. I know you are looking forward to sharing that love. As much as you give you must be willing to receive.
"Dear Lord, Please allow these two to be your servants and bless them. Help this waiting time to flow past and on to something better. Help us Lord to be there to hold them up when they need support to love and help them, in Love and Praising God",Amen"
