I just want to try and put into words (and pictures) how God has LAVISHED love on Nate and I these past two weeks, when we desperately needed it. "He is loving toward all He has made." IT'S TRUE. Here is proof for you: :)
1. Last Sunday, my good friend, Taryn, a message therapist, gave me an hour and a half hot-stone massage! Taryn is one of the godliest women I've EVER known, and during my message, she played a song list from her ipod of worship songs about HOPE. The words from these songs literally breathed life into me and reminded me again of God's faithfulness. Thank you, Taryn, for such a wonderful reminder. Love you, friend.
2. Several of my friends were the voice of God these past two weeks, sending simple texts filled with God's truth and promises. There are too many of you to name, so I just want to say thank you so much for taking the time out of your own busy, not always easy, lives and encouraging me. You all are amazing, and I am clinging to these TRUTHS thanks to you all!
3. Drum roll please . . .
The amazingly handsome, wonderful man that you see below is my husband of 6 1/2 years. On Friday night, Nate took me on a surprise overnight getaway, completely planned by him (and others--tell you more in a sec). Nate made sure our date night was EXACTLY what I would want if I could plan a date. My husband is my Knight; these past two weeks he has carried me through highs and lows, and most of all, he has lead us both to continue to trust in God and lay our confusion, fears, hurts, and hopes at His feet. I have married an amazing man, and I KNOW he is a gift from God. I love you, babe!

My Prince Charming :)
4. Now . . . about someone else helping to plan our perfect date . . .
Below you will see my "Baby Buds," Em and Nakada. These girls have been my lifeline for the past 2+ years, walking through the ups and downs of life. Nakada now has precious twins, Sophie and Riley, and Em is due in April with perfect little Camden Stout. God has truly blessed us in our journey together. We are so grateful for one another!
These two ladies are the reason that Nate and I got to go on our special date! Em and Nakada got their heads together this past week and made some connections to get us a suite at the Marriott! They knew that after a couple of trying weeks, we could really use a nice getaway, so my Baby Buds saved the day! :) Friends, I can't thank you enough! I love you both and can't WAIT to continue to walk together on this journey of raising our kiddos to love and treasure Christ!

Here is our perfect date in pictures . . .

And, of course we topped off the morning with a stack of pancakes from . . .
So, all that to say . . .I am so blessed!
Father God, I know that you ALWAYS love and take care of us, but I am so grateful that these past two weeks you reached out and extended tangible, more-than-I-knew-I-even-needed kinds of love to us. Thank you so much for being a God that makes all things new. There is nowhere else I'd rather be than trusting, treasuring, and enjoying you. I love you. Thank you for loving us more than we even know.

So glad you went and enjoyed yourself with your Hubby. Times like those are so needed sometimes. Thinkin about you..
I am so glad you had such a nice weekend "away" with Nathan! Has it really been 6 1/2 years? I still cry every time I hear "No Greater Love" because I think of your beautiful wedding...seriously, it's kind of ridiculous!
