Any guesses what will happen in 54 (business) days??? (Lord willing)
Nope. Not our court date (have NO clue when that will be... definitely longer than 54 days from now).
Nope. Not holding our son for the first time.... that, too, is further off than 54 days.
I'll tell you what's happening in 54 school days.... I WILL BE DONE TEACHING!!!! Yep. Nate and I have planned all along that I will stay home with our son, so this past week, I went ahead and turned in my letter of resignation for next school year. Now, don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed my job, and I am super thankful for it, but I AM SO EXCITED TO BE A MOMMY!!!!
So... only 54 more school days of being MRS. HEAD! WHOO-HOOO!!!!!

... and have I mentioned that our little man is the cutest thing you'll ever see??? Well, he is. :)

Stef!!! We just got home from vacation today and I am catching up on my blogs and everything, so I have been out of the loop for the past week...Woo hoo! Congrats on the news of your referral! we are so excited for you! Yeah for letters of resignation! So stinkin' happy for you friend!!!!
I'm telling you--you need to make that jar of candy--54 pieces to be exact!!!! I am counting the days with you--and YES, my third grandchild is more than stinkin' cute--he's ADORABLE!!!!! Love ya!
Sorry to tell you you'll still be "Mrs. Head" :) But I'm so excited for you!!! You're going to LOVE being home - it's the BEST! Can't wait to see your little guy!
Congratulations! You guys have been in our prayers and I am so happy for you! I know what you mean about so many people loving and praying for your baby before you even knew him. We felt the same way about Kylie. can't wait to meet him. Let us know if you need any neighborly help when you go to bring your angel home.
Friend, I am so happy that we get to be stay at home mom's together....God is SOOOO good. and yes.....Jordan is the CUTEST!
you need to journal each of the 54 days and to baby boy why you are thrilled about this "job change" then when he goes to college you can share with him how you chose to be a teacher then he called you to be HIS mom!
Woo Hoo! Soooo happy for you! Truly. I know the school and students will miss you but what a blessing you've been to the students you've had.

Congrats, Stef! I hope that it goes by quickly for you. I am a little jealous though. :) I will be done with teaching in 26 years (4,680 contract days after this year). HOLY COW! I should not have done the math. Maybe God will have a different plan. lol
