So, I've realized I'm like any other little kid when it comes to the holidays. November is underway, and all I can think about is CHRISTMAS!!!! Now, for those of you that know me, you're probably thinking, "But, Stefany, you usually don't care too much about Christmas, and all the holly and jolly and ornaments and Santa hats." Well . . . you're right.
However . . . this Christmas is a BIT DIFFERENT, in that with each passing day, we're getting closer and closer to our referral! :) Now, all along, Nate and I have dreamed about having a sweet picture of our little guy at Christmas. Last Christmas is when we announced to our families that we were adopting, and we would LOVE to be able to celebrate this Christmas with his beautiful picture! So, needless to say, we are praying for a Christmas miracle! :)
At the same time, we continue to be reminded that God's story is PERFECT for all of us, and we can trust his timing FULLY to be the very best. So, our hope is in HIM, in Jesus, and we rest in His perfect way.
. . . but all we want for Christmas is . . . :)

Oh friend! I love you and we are praying for that picture too...thinking more of the 23rd of December....who knows. Don't worry, God speaks to us and shows us things in many different ways....sometimes dreams, sometimes not. Do not worry, He loves you, and like you said He has it under control. Love ya.

Christmas will be extra sweet this year either way...it will be the last Christmas with just the two of you!! next year, you will have a precious little boy to celebrate with!!
