23 Weeks!!!

Well, we've made it 23 weeks!  Next Tuesday will be a BIG DAY for us--24 weeks, or 6 months, of waiting!  (I like to go by weeks more than months--they seem to go quicker.)  So, I'm thinking that Nate and I should do some celebrating next Tuesday - - maybe dinner and a movie???  Sounds good to me!  Any excuse to celebrate!

No infant boy referrals lately, so we haven't exactly moved up on the list, so to speak, but we're still hopeful . . . my sweet friend, Em, keeps telling me every Tuesday, "Congrats!  This is one more week down of waiting that you'll NEVER have to do again!"  Thank you, friend, for that perfect reminder!  I need it!  Speaking of my sweet friend, Em, here's a big congrats to her and Colin on a great doctor's report today and a beautiful, growing, healthy (maybe boy) baby!  You can read her blog here.  Check out their sweet new addition named Sampson, too!  :)  And, another big congrats to my sweet friend, Nakada, who got a great report on her two little ones today as well!  Healthy babies all around!!!!  Thank you, God!!!!

So, tonight I came home to a very fun surprise . . . Nate was able to find someone at his work who needed a futon, so our baby's room is now officially ready for a crib!  Exciting!  I wanted to put the crib together tonight, but that's a bit ridiculous, considering it's 9pm and we have SEVERAL more months before Baby Head makes his way home.  :)  But, when we get that crib put together, I'll post pictures, I promise!

Here's to hoping for lots and lots and lots of referrals and court dates and safe travels and wonderful happenings in the upcoming weeks!!!!
