Tomorrow, November 3rd, marks 5 months (22 weeks) of waiting for us!!!! I seriously cannot believe it has been 5 months already since we submitted our dossier! December 28th will mark 1 year since we turned in our adoption application to our agency. I guess I'm secretly hoping for a referral before our 1-year mark, but that seems to be more like a Christmas miracle than reality at this point. :) God's timing is perfect. I HONESTLY BELIEVE THIS. I just keep trying to convince Him that a sweet little picture would be a most wonderful Christmas gift, don't you think? :)
Nate's parents have been here this weekend, visiting from Missouri! They actually just left our house a few minutes ago to head home. We've had a great weekend with great Fall weather and lots of football! :) I think I might have read ever adoption blog that ever existed yesterday as we watched HOURS upon HOURS of college football. Good times, for sure. :)
So, now I'm off to clean my house. (Who wants to clean house when it's GORGEOUS outside?) Or, maybe take a Sunday afternoon nap. Hmmm . . . tough decision. :)

happy 5 months!!! i am still praying BIG for a Christmas referral for us both...and of course to travel together! maybe if we say it enough, it might acuatlly happen :)

oh, and i guess i will still talk to you after the game on saturday...even if it pains me. the neighbors across the street still have their flags on their car from yesterday. i think they are taunting us since we keep a georgia flag up during football season and uga resides on our front stoop year round. i wonder if they would be suspicious if the flags went missing in the middle of the night?! ;)

here's my theory...since we were 10 days past due with Evan, someone has to balance that out. So, I predict December 15th as the day you will get a picture of your sweet little man. Oh, what do I know! Let's hope I am right!
We have been waiting about the same amount of time, and sometimes I get nervous about getting the call. Do you ever feel like that? I dont know if its that it will actually be happening, or that then we have to hustle about the next step...packing, some more paperwork, packing, shots, packing, paperwork, packing, leaving and forgetting something...
