You mean I actually have to go back to work tomorrow?
Oh, wait, all I've done lately is travel and have a BLAST! The fun's got to end sometime, right? And, only 3 weeks of school . . . and then another trip home to Missouri to celebrate Christmas! It's a rough life . . . I know. But somebody's gotta do it. :)
Here are some pics of our time in Missouri with friends and family! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and family as well!

Sweet friends, Brittany H. and Brittany C.--so good to see you all! I got to see lots of Webb City folks at the state football game in St. Louis. Nate and I stopped at the game on our way back to Kentucky on Saturday.

My sweet friend, JB. Here we are eating GREAT PIZZA and getting ready to shop the day after Thanksgiving! Thanks for hanging out, friend! So good to see you!

Webb City high school football team (in red- my high school) is the State Champion again this year! Go Cardinals!

Pop celebrated his 94th birthday on Thanksgiving Day this year! What a special day! We love you, Pop!

Family tradition with mom and dad--we always put up their Christmas tree the night of Thanksgiving. Nate always "gets" to help the most because he's the tallest. :)

Nana and Halle making dressing for Thanksgiving dinner! It was AWESOME, by the way!

This is Jayce saying "CHEEZE!!!" However, he forgot to smile. :) How cute!!!

Good times in the kitchen--we always seem to end up here. Probably mom's cinnamon rolls. :)

Nate, Nolan and the dogs! Duke and Tank (on left) are Tim's girlfriend, Nikki's, cute puppies, and Duncan and Oprah are in love with Nolan! Thank you, Jill and Nolan, for always taking such great care of Duncan! (He actually ended up staying in Missouri with Jill and Nolan until Christmas! )
Speaking of blessings . . . Nate and I have been so blessed in this adoption process so far. We are so grateful for our friends and family in their love, support, and prayers for us and our soon-to-be son. We look forward to celebrating 6 months (26 weeks) this Wednesday, December 3rd!

Wow, what a busy few weeks you have had....
We are headed that way too for Christmas. We will stop in StL to drop off some borrowed toys and eat yummie pizza and then probably stay in Lebanon or Joplin before we head on down to TX.
Congrats on 6 months....I bet that referral will be here before you know it!
Girl! I smiled as I read through your whole post! I am so happy to hear about your great week at home, there is no place like it! Although selfishly I like having you here....I love ya.
