And now I can breathe.

Whew.  First full week of school - DONE.  Several night ago, Nate and I watched the Olympic women's 26-mile marathon.  As they were running (FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER) I kept thinking, "You've got to be kidding me!  Is this for real?  They are STILL going!!!!  No one is taking a break to walk, throw up, or take a nap!"  AMAZING.

Well, I have not burned NEAR as many calories as these women this week, but I'm pretty sure the way I feel right now is similar to these runners at the end of their race.  Here's a picture to describe the feeling:

So, here's to a new Olympic event: TEACHING FRESHMEN ENGLISH.  :)  I'm pretty sure I did not medal this week, but at least I crossed the finish line, right?

In other news . . . we're coming up on 12 weeks of waiting (this next Tuesday)!  Still not a whole lot of action in our agency right now, but I'm hopeful!  We'll keep you posted when it starts raining referrals again!!!!!

Have a great weekend!

Are you crazy? Girl, you're the favorite for the gold! The podium is calling your name!

Some moments during this week I wished I were running a marathon rather than trying to "run" the classroom. I think training for a marathon would actually be easier than teaching this year. oh my.

Thank you so much for your comments! Today went really well and I did take your advice. I also moved the room around and that made a HUGE difference. I need to take it a day at a time.

Have I mentioned how excited I am for you to get your little bundle of joy?
