"It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we're living for . . . He has designs for us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone." (Ephesians 1:11-12, MSG)
Oh, thank you, Jesus, for a sweet little breather this morning to soak up some of your Word. I find that with a toddler, focused time with Jesus is few and far between . . . which is fine, too. It's kinda cool to be in the "pray-throughout-the-day-phase-as-things-come-to-mind." But, this morning was so nice with just a few minutes to really look at God's Truth and claim it in my own life. So thankful that God's Word is living and active, never changing, and always EXACTLY right for what we need. So cool.
So, this morning, I hope this verse encourages you as well. I often lose sight of what I'm living for, and this Scripture scooped me out of that pit and reminded me that my life is "gloriously purposeful" in God's great story! Love it!
Thank you, Jesus, for your grace toward me, for continuing to carry out your glorious will in my life, not because of me, but because of your great mercy. Thank you!!!
