Enjoying a restful, snowy Sunday. The snow has actually stopped and the sun has come out, but it was a really pretty morning. Unfortunately, it happened on a weekend, so another snow day opportunity down the drain. :)
Nate and I have a plan today: clean out closets. I'm honestly looking forward to this, as I LOVE to throw/give things away and have things nice and neat. Now, Nate on the other hand, is a bit more "sentimental" than me, so we'll see how this "cleaning out" actually goes. :)
So, just as I started to get excited about guessing a referral date, it's looking like things are going to be quite slow for the next several weeks. Without going into too much detail, let's just say that the possibility of us receiving a referral in December is 0% (ok, that's probably not fair to God, b/c anything is possible with Him, but you get my drift) and possibility of a referral in January is more like 25%. So, at this point, I'm trying to set my sights on early February. Valentine's Day might be kind of fun!

Sorry to hear they aren't going to have referrals over Christmas. I'm sure it feels like it's going to be forever before they get that referral to you but it will be here real soon. In the Valentines spirit I was going to go with the day before Valentines but that was Friday the 13th, so my new guess is the 12th!
Guess I need to change my guess....hmmm going with my Dad's birthday of January 20th!
Well, I guess I will finally give in and adjust my guess too! I go with February 2nd!
Oh I hope it's not that long, but I think your right, it's really looking like March or April we will have our little ones in our arms....But Im not giving up hope that it will be sooner......Right there with you...Erin
girl i am sticking with valentines day. i say if you and nate are on a romantic date and the phone rings and you get your referral. i know the next call will be to your family and friends but I am saying STOP... call the hallmark channel and they will for sure make a movie. How wonderful would that be. And you know I would watch it. I am thinking maybe Reece Witherspoon for you and still thinking on who could play nate???
