Today I have decided to blog mostly with pictures. On Sunday nights, I try and save as much energy as possible for the week to come, so the fewer words, perhaps the better. :)
Unfortunately, my photography skills are not great, but if you'd like to check out some amazing photography, visit one of my blog-buddies here. :) Her pictures are INCREDIBLE!
First, I would like to take a second to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to Toni, our adoption consultant. Toni has over 100 families (I think) to care for in the Ethiopia program, and she is AMAZING! Thank you, Toni, for all of your hard work on behalf of all of your families and the children of Ethiopia!

Speaking of adoption (like I talk about anything else), these are my friends, Chad and Karen, who are also adopting from Ethiopia. Their referral call is JUST AROUND THE CORNER, so please keep them in your prayers as they anxiously await the first picture of their precious little girl! We are so excited for you guys!!!!

This is my sweet friend, Heidi, who has been a HUGE encouragement to Nate and I these past 3 years as we started our new home in Kentucky. Heidi and her family are moving to Texas this week, and Nate and I are so sad to see them go. However, we are so excited to continue to watch God work all things together for His greatest glory in their lives and their greatest joy in Him! Heidi, I could NEVER have done these last 3 years without you, and I can't wait for our little guy to get to meet you and hear that you've been praying for him and loving him since Day One!

My sweet Pop is doing GREAT!!!!! He is back up and walking (for the most part) and will visit the surgeon again tomorrow. We are hoping he gets released to live in his own apartment again, so that he can be a bit more independent. He is one tough cookie! We love you, Pop!

These are my sweet "Baby Buddies," Emily and Nakada. This picture was taken SEVERAL months ago, as Nakada is now 5 months pregnant with TWINS and Emily is 6 weeks pregnant with her little one! Girls, I just wanted to tell you how thankful I am for your friendship and encouragement. I love how God is orchestrating all of our stories for His great glory! Love you girls, and I can't wait for our little ones to get to know each other!

So... I lied. There are WAY MORE WORDS in this post than I intended. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to go to bed a few minutes earlier tonight to make up for it tomorrow. :) Hope your weekends were relaxing and fun! We're coming up on 16 weeks this Tuesday! Please join us in praying for more referrals in the weeks to come!
Love you all!

All ready for school, checking your blog and now I am crying. I remember when that pic was taken...we were all praying hard for babies and look at what God has done. He is sooooo good. I can't wait for our kids to hang out. I love you.
Stef...thanks for the update! I'm such an emotional person (especially after becoming a mom), and I'm just sitting here crying tears of joy at how God is blessing you and your family! I can't wait to see what He does next! We love you and are praying for you as you wait for the call!
Yay, fun update!! (Thanks for the shout-out!) We need to get together soon, it's been too long. I doubt we'll have referral news for you, but maybe we'll be at the top of the line!

I think about you often and pray for your classroom and your home. I'm so excited for you all every time I think about the adventure you're living.
Hey Stefany!
We have been keeping up on your progress and have been hoping and praying your call will come soon.
There is a group of families getting together on October 11 in Lexington. We would love it if you and Nathan can make it. There is more info up on our blog.
Hope you can make it...and hang in there!
Wow...that is crazy...we are happy to hear of another family and another get together because we think it is so important to build this network of support for our children.
Not exactly sure if we will be able to make it, but we will definitely try our best to make it.
Hi there! We are the Caldwell family from London, Kentucky. We know and love the Bowmans too! So cool! Our prayers are with you guys as you continue down this adoption road!
Stef thanks for your sweet words!
Remember all the many, many papers you had so well organized for the Secretary of State to put official state seals on? Whew! You did that well!
I miss you!
