Sorry, there will be no pictures today, as Nate stole my camera and took it to CR with him. He left me a note with a smiley face on it and told me he would guard it with his life. He better. :)
Not a whole lot has happened since the last time I wrote, except that the snow gave way to 60-degree temps (on their way to the 70's for tomorrow). I'm assuming this means no snow days this week, but it is Kentucky, so I guess you never know.
Just so you know, the public library phase is not over yet. I rented more movies and got another book yesterday, so I guess you could now call me a "regular." I am currently reading 28 Stories of AIDS in Africa by Stephanie Nolen, and I highly recommend it. This is a very recent documentary of 28 families who are suffering from the AIDS epidemic, both from their own poor choices as well as unfortunate, undeserved events in their lives. It is heartbreaking to say the least, and also very eye-opening.
One last thought for today: What in the heck did Noah and all of his family members and all of those animals do for all those months while they were stuck on that ark? I know, random, but I started reading the Bible from the front cover again, and I'm amazed. I mean, can you imagine KNOWING that you were the ONLY people left on earth? It reminds me of that new Will Smith movie kinda. So, do you think maybe they discussed how they would set up this new place? Who would be the President? Secretary of State? City Mayor? Which of them would start the first grocery store? And, who would marry who so that they could repopulate the earth . . . yikes! Talk about some intense family conversations!
Well, that's all for now. I've got a pretty busy schedule (two movies and a book) awaiting me!
