Here are some pictures of the rockin' New Year's Eve party that the Stout's put on this year. Who knew that Rock Band could be so fun? We are thinking about starting our own band, but Nate and Emily will have to fight for Lead Vocal--they are both pretty stinkin' awesome.
I'm thinking about trying out for the worship team at church.
Go Em, Go Em, Go Em
Well, here is a picture of the blizzard-like conditions that shut down our town today. Told you so.... But hey, who's complaining? Not me! I've enjoyed ANOTHER day of R & R, and my dogs have thoroughly enjoyed another day of roaming free in the house--not cooped up in the bathroom all day. I think they might both go into shock tomorrow when I go back to work and am not at their "bark-in-call" every second (cheezy, I know, but this is my blog, so I can be as cheezy as I want, I guess).
I went to our public library for the first time today. "But you're an English teacher, Stefany, don't you go to the library all the time?" Heck no. However, today seemed like a really good library day, so I went. Holy smokes! It was incredible! Books, movies, magazines, ALL FOR FREE! Who needs Blockbuster and $5 movie rentals? Not me! I'm totally pumped about my new discovery (I have to give credit to my sister who lives at her public library...if only I would have listened to you sooner, Rach.) So, I got a new book and a movie--that should last me a couple of days, and then, I'll go back! Right now, I feel like I will read every book and watch every movie that fills up those shelves, but I am also the QUEEN of going through random phases and then getting bored with them, so we'll see how long this lasts.
