I'm back!

So, Nate stole my camera for over a week, but I guess it was well-worth it, because here are some pics from his trip to Costa Rica.  BEAUTIFUL!!!!

YIKES!  

While Nate was off playing with alligators and sun tanning, I was here pretending to be REALLY busy.  I even caught myself cleaning out our filing system from the last 5 years . . . what was I thinking?  My friends were AWESOME while Nate was gone, keeping me company and listening to me whine about being "single."  (Thank you, Heidi, for feeding me, too.)   Needless to say, I'm super glad Nate is back and life is back to "normal" again. 

So, what has happened in a week?  Hmmm.... a LOT of exciting things . . .

* I have gone back to the public library, so I feel like it is safe to say that this is NOT just a phase.

* Duke has discovered how to drag Duncan across the living room by his tail.  It is hilarious.  Poor Duncan is too chunky around the middle to reach back and defend himself.  

* I got to go to the Mad Potter in Lexington.  I am not an artist, but it was super fun to sit and chat with some of my friends and create a pretty special piece of art.  (More to come on that later...)

* I survived 2 tornado watches while Nate was gone.  For those of you that know me well, you realize how big of a milestone this is.  (I have to mention that I did stay in Heidi's basement one night, but still...)

So, like I said, my last week has been FULL of excitement. :)  I know you must be thinking, How could you have waited that long to tell us all of that exciting stuff?  It was hard, but it was worth holding out. :)
