Race Day Coming!!!

More funds (and drawings) are coming in for the Kebron kiddos' school uniforms!!!  Woohoo!!!

Just a quick update on my "Run for Kebron" coming in less than two weeks!

What: Half Marathon (13 miles)

When: April 27th

Where: Louisville

Who the funds are for: Students at Kebron Carepoint in Ethiopia.  The students at this carepoint are in need of new school uniforms.  To read more about these awesome kiddos and this specific need, you can see my post entitled "13 Miles to Kebron."

How you can help: Consider giving $1 per mile to partner with me while I "Run for Kebron"! :)

Money raised so far: Over $300!!!  GO TEAM!!!!

Who to make checks to: Children's Hope Chest

My mailing address: 212 Bernie Trail, Nicholasville KY  40356

Update on my injury: GOD IS IN THE BUSINESS OF HEALING. :)  Thanks to my chiropractor, many answered prayers, and awesome counsel from other seasoned runners, I am feeling sooooo much better!  My last long run before the race will be this upcoming weekend (10 miles), and I'm actually starting to (somewhat) believe that this half marathon might be doable! :)

THANK YOU friends and family for all of your support so far!  This journey has been nothing short of incredible... physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.  I CANNOT WAIT to share with you all the actual race-day experience and the final outcome of our partnering together to meet this need in Ethiopia!

Love to you all!
