"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."  Romans 8:28

The boys with Grandpa just a few weeks ago during our Spring Break visit.  Grandpa ALWAYS made the boys feel so special AND knew how to make everything super fun!  We will greatly miss this man.

In the midst of great loss, there was also celebration.  Nate, Jordan, and I had the privilege of surprising my dad at the Chamber of Commerce banquet this week as well, where he won Citizen of the Year.  We are so very proud of this man. Two of my favorite things about my dad are his humility and integrity, and both of these traits were mentioned in his award last night.

Meet Mandy, my dear friend and training partner.  Mandy will be representing "Run for Kebron" at the race tomorrow, in my absence.

Dear friends,

With loads of sadness and glimmers of hope, our family is mourning the loss of a great man of God this week--Nate's dad, Nolan Head (aka "Grandpa").  On Wednesday evening, Grandpa Nolan went to be with Jesus.  While losing Nolan was completely unexpected and is still very hard to grasp, we are so thankful for his relationship with Jesus and the promise of heaven.

I wanted to introduce you all to my friend Mandy (picture above) who will be representing me in the "Run for Kebron" tomorrow at the race in Louisville.  Mandy has been my running buddy through this entire training process.  We have laughed, cried, trudged through snow and rain, and encouraged one another to JUST KEEP GOING.  I am so grateful for her in so many different ways, as a friend, training buddy, neighbor, and sister in Christ.  Mandy and I have talked often about the kiddos at Kebron and their need for school uniforms.  I am so grateful for her willingness to run tomorrow with the Kebron kiddos in her mind and heart.

Thank you to all of you who have partnered with me in this "Run for Kebron."  As of this week, we have raised over $600 to go toward new school uniforms.  I am humbled by your generosity, friends!!!

If you woud still like to partner with us in this great cause, please read the blog post entitled "13 Miles to Kebron" and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!

Love to you all.

Stefany
