14 Months!

Tomorrow, Jordan will be 14 months old! Wow! We have celebrated 7 months home now with Jordan, and we could not be more thankful.... I still have moments where I catch myself crying as I rock him to sleep. I just am so amazed at how God has brought our family together. So cool. I can only imagine the love God must feel toward us, his own adopted sons and daughters.

So, a quick Jordan update . . .

* Sleep: Jordan is finally sleeping past 6am!!!! I feel like a new woman. :) His bedtime has gotten a bit later, so he's sleeping from about 8:15pm-7:30 or 8am. He's basically down to one nap a day now, usually around 11am, lasting for an hour and a half or so. Then, late in the afternoon, maybe a VERY SHORT snooze around 4 or so. Not bad, not bad at all! We are so blessed to have such a good sleeper!!! (Now, getting him to fall asleep at night is another story... the process usually takes about 20-30 minutes . . . but once he's asleep, he's OUT COLD!)

*Eating: Jordan's appetite has gotten much smaller in this last month. He prefers to eat smaller "snacks" throughout the day instead of 3 "big" meals. Some of his favorite foods are Craisins, peas, cheese, and pancakes. He still loves milk!

* Talking: Jordan has all of a sudden decided it's cool to try and say words. It's pretty hilarious. Most recently, he is saying dad (of course), papa, bye-bye, up, open, and all done. We are so proud of our jabbering little man!

* Favorites: Jordan loves cell phones. Recently, I got a new phone (thanks, Em!) so Jordan has inherited my old phone. He thinks he is so cool. Jordan also loves to walk backwards. He makes sure that we are watching him, and then he gets this cheezy grin on his face and walks backwards VERY SLOWLY. It is a scream! I wish I could get it on video . . . but Jordan also loves the video camera. :)

We wish you a very happy New Year! Thank you for continuing to follow our journey!
