Friends!!!!!!!!!!
One year and one day ago we were accepted by our agency to adopt from Ethiopia . . . and . . .
Today . . .
WE GOT OUR REFERRAL TODAY FOR A BEAUTIFUL, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT 4-WEEK OLD BABY BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have some really fun pictures of our night with friends and family, but I will have to post those later. I'm absolutely pooped, but I can't stop thinking about him!
I will also have to tell you the story of "the call" later. Let's just say, the people at Valvoline are probably still talking about "that crazy crying lady." More to come on that later . . .
As many of you already know, we will not be able to share information/pictures about our little guy until we pass court (which will be several months from now). But, I can tell you that he is absolutely perfect! :)
. . . AND HIS NAME WILL BE JORDAN!!!!
We wanted to share his name earlier, but we decided to wait until we got our referral! We were so excited today when we saw his picture and the name Jordan fit him just perfectly! We will be keeping his Ethiopian-given name as his middle name, which I can't share until after we pass court as well.
Thank you so much for your prayers, your words of encouragement, and thank you to those of you that came by tonight to celebrate with us! (My sister wins "the longest drive" award--she brought the kiddos 1 1/2 hours one-way to see our little guy!!!! You rock, Rach!) And Em ( I know you are reading this) I'm so sorry that you were under the weather and not able to come tonight. We will continue the celebration when you are feeling better! :)

I could not be more excited... yay for Jordan! What a gift from God! Is there any way you can tell me what sizes you are buying for him??? If not I totally understand, but I think he needs some digs!
Congratulations to you and your husband. I think this is day that we'll all remember for the rest of our lives. Maybe we'll get to travel together. :)
