The Largest To-Do List Ever

Sorry, no pics. today, but I will tell you that there is no snow on the ground, but rather nearly 50-degree temps!  I'm lovin' it!

We met with our super-helpful social worker this past Thursday.  She is GREAT!  Her and her husband have already adopted  a sweet little girl from China and are in the process of adopting a second child.  So, needless to say, she totally gets us.

We got our first mound of paperwork on Thursday night, which seems a bit overwhelming, but for nerds like me, a little on the exciting side.  I LOVE to-do lists.  I know, I'm weird.  So, today is paperwork day.  I have my blanket, my recliner, my corn-bag (it's a cold-person thing), and my computer.  Bring it.  :)

I had the chance to eat dinner w/my sis and her family on Friday night.  How crazy is that?  They will be moving in a couple of weeks to Indiana, super close to Louisville.  They have been given a great opportunity to work with a new church that is going to do some awesome things for God's Kingdom.  I'm super excited for them.  I honestly never imagined that we would get to live this close again, so I'm totally pumped!  I can't wait to hang out w/my niece and nephew more than 3 times a year (if that).  It's going to be so much fun!

I also want to take a minute to say thanks to our family and all of our super great friends.  You all have been such a huge support in this journey, and I couldn't have asked for better people to be in my life during this season.  I love you all!  I have also been blessed with a new friend, K.  Her and her husband are about 6 months ahead of us in the adoption process and are super cool people, so I want to say thanks to her for all of her help!

Peace out.  Happy Super Bowl.  (Happy eating, really.)  :)

Disclaimer:  Just because I am an English teacher doesn't mean that there will be no errors in grammar, mechanics, or content in these posts.  In fact, there will probably be many, because I usually post on the weekends when I'm "off duty" and free to not care about those things. :)  Praise God for weekends.
