Dear Jordan . . .

To my sweet Jordan Bezuneh,

You are on your way to being 2 in just 5 days! Later today we are celebrating your birthday with some friends and our sweet family (who love you so much that they drove all night long to be here for your big bash). I wanted to tell you some things that I absolutely LOVE about you, as you are about to start your third year of life!

Jordan, I love the way you turn "fake shy" when I catch you doing something super adorable. For example, when I have overheard you talking to Mr. Monkey about cows you see as we drive to church, as soon as I catch your eye, you turn all shy, like, "Mom! You weren't supposed to see that!" I absolutely love you.

Jordan, I love the way you IMMEDIATELY request a wrestling session with your awesome daddy the minute he gets home from work. I love that there is no time for supper, no time to catch up on the day... JUST WRESTLING. I love your sweet, playful spirit, son.

Jordan, I love the way you finish memory verses, like, "Love the Lord with all your . . . (Jordan screams, "HEART!"), with all your (insert scream, "SOUL!") . . . and so on. I love that God's Word already has a special place in your heart. Thank you, Jesus, for answering our prayers for Jordan in that super special way.

Jordan, I love your passion . . . deep, intense, all-day-long passion for Bob the Builder. I love that you know the words to the song, lines from the movie, that your very first question when we get home from ANYWHERE is, "Bob the Builder?" You are too sweet, little buddy.

Jordan, I love you dearly, and I am so so so so so blessed to get to be your mom.
