Over the 4th of July weekend, we got to hang out with Nate's side of the family in St. Louis! It was our first Cardinals game at the new stadium! What a fun weekend! Nolan did an AWESOME job planning the whole thing!

*A few things I need to write down about my 20-month old before I forget how cute he is right now . . .
-It is now very common to find J asleep on the floor of his bedroom, instead of the bed. He used to get out of his big boy bed and then climb right back in, but lately, he has really been enjoying sleeping in a big curled-up ball on his blanket on the floor. It is just too cute.
-Yesterday, I caught J reading his Bible Stories book to himself. He had the Abraham story open, and he was saying, "I will show you!" In the story, God tells Abraham that he will show him the land he is going to give him and his family. So sweet. Wanted to freeze that moment forever. :)
-Also yesterday, I smelled something seriously nasty coming from my son. I turned to him and pointed to his bottom and said, "What happened?" He said, "I poopied," and went right on with his business. Hilarious.

I see you are wearing some new clothes!! :)
Jealous you got to see the cards live! Jani referred you as having read a book on raising boys. Would you mind sharing which one it was and if it was helpful? Thanks! You can FB me or leave a comment on my blog. I am linked through Jani's if that helps. J is so precious. How do babies get so cute?
Love your updates! Feels like we get to 'know' J some.
