I hate quitting

First of all, some pics from recent days . . .

My sister's baby shower for Kenna. Her friends from church ROCK!!! Look at how beautiful my sis is! She's glowing!!!

Spending the day with my awesome nephew Jayce!

Love. Him.

Jordan has the coolest cousins in the whole wide world.

Back to the quitting thing . . .

I decided to drop my first graduate class tonight. Yep. I'm a quitter. Officially.

The class started today, and after looking over things for these next 6 weeks, I was feeling like a complete failure already. First of all, the work load is INSANE. For example, we got the assignments today, and our first quiz, power point presentation (not just words, but sounds, pictures, the whole nine yards), and Unit Theme plan are all due Thursday at 8am.

SERIOUSLY?!? It's Monday night right now, and I have a one year old. Oh, and did I mention I'm in Missouri this week with my sweet family and the last thing I want to do is stay up all night, every night working on a Unit Plan for a "pretend" class that I don't teach now, never have taught, and don't plan to teach for at least the next 4-5 years? :)

Anywhoo... with the help of my awesome husband, we decided that there is no need to work my you-know-what off for these next 6 weeks, when I still have 2 more semesters before my deadline arrives (I'm just trying to keep my teaching certificate updated by 2011 . . . long story).
So, all that to say, I'M FREE!!!!!

I'll take my last class in the fall (Lord willing) and be done with graduate work for a while . . . until they make me take more hours. :)

I feel good. I really do.

I just hate quitting. :)
