Today marks 19 weeks of waiting! I have discovered within the past two days why I still need to have a job (besides helping to pay the bills). THIS WAITING IS DRIVING ME CRAZY WHEN I'M NOT AT WORK!!!! I catch myself checking our yahoo group nearly every 5 minutes to see if there are any new referrals, new court dates, etc. Madness, I tell you! Madness! So, as much as I'm looking forward to being a stay-at-home mom, I would like to take a second and be thankful for my super-busy, a-tad-on-the-stressful-side job of teaching high school English. (Someone please remind me of this next week when I'm back to complaining about it again.)
I'm off to see my sister and her kiddos later this afternoon, and then we'll head out in the morning for good ole' Missouri!!!! Hooray! While Kentucky is BEAUTIFUL and my home now, there's nothing quite like driving down Main Street in my hometown . . . can't wait! I'm also looking forward to my first real road trip with my niece and nephew! I think I'm going to learn a lot about traveling with kiddos! :)
So . . . I hope you all have a great week, and hopefully on Sunday I'll be able to update my blog with some super-fun pics. of our time in Missouri!

oh, i can see what you mean about being thankful you have a job. i probably walk into the office a million times a day and refresh outlook to see if there is any news. it is an adiction, really! the girls keep me busy, but we are home a lot and i am always on the computer. it is bad, really...i have no self-control!
i am ready for this adoption to be over for many reasons (the main one being our baby will be home), but also so i can enjoy life again and not be so sucked into the computer :)
oh, and happy 19 weeks!!

I have been thinking of you..and I feel like God wanted me to send you a word of encouragement through your "waiting" time...first of all do not go crazy...He is on your side! He is passionate about you and your love for the fatherless...he is "waiting" with you! He also knows the true meaning of wait..he waited 33 years for his son to return home to him just like you are waiting for your son to return home with you..he loves you with an everlasting, true love..his word says in Isaiah 43:5 Do not be afraid, for I am with you ( and you baby boy) I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west...That's the God we serve! Our daddy is always preparing goodness for us..so as you wait remember that I am praying for you and your precious son to unite as one...
